After taking request for gift guides on my instagram… it was an obvious choice to do the men’s gift guide first! I also struggle to shop for gifts for my husband, father, and father-in-law. Why is it so hard? Most men have everything they want or they figure out a way to get what they want haha! Jake is such a simple person — he doesn’t care about anything flashy, knows what he likes, and doesn’t try lots of new things. Well, I have a good list of men’s gifts! Hope these are helpful for everyone with the holiday season approaching. One other important thing to mention is that shipping is going to be delayed this holiday season — I already know that! So it’s important to shop early and take advantage of the November sales!
1. Dagne Dover Large Dakota Backpack $195
This has been one of Jake’s favorite pieces for a few years. He got the large as a Christmas gift and loves it – it slides perfectly on to his carry on suitcase for traveling and has lots of pockets for organization. We’re definitely not traveling like we used to, but his business is going to pick up eventually! It has a laptop holder for up to 15 inch laptops and plenty of space for his workout clothing too! Click through and read the amazing reviews on this bag. Dagne Dover has incredible customer service too, so if there are any flaws that develop on the bag you can reach out to them and they’ll help or send you a new one!
If you shop before November 7th on the Dagne Dover website you can get a free pouch with the purchase of $75 or more!
2. Nomad Rugged Case for AirPods $30
I’m a sucker for anything personalized. I think it proves that it’s a thoughtful gift! Jake’s AirPods are basically an extension of his body at this point, so a personalized case is perfect. The case is made of Horween leather and features a subtle, optical light pipe that allows the LED charging indicator to shine through so you’ll always know when you’re low on power. You can add a classic foil monogram with up to three letters. There are two options as well: AirPod or AirPod Pro.
3. Theragun Prime $299
Let me just say, I know that this gift is expensive. It’s definitely out of my budget for Jake this year, but if you are looking to splurge on someone this is the way to do it! The Theragun is one of the best inventions for massage that I’ve ever seen. It’s great for someone that runs a lot or is working out/active on a daily basis. This model has a 120 minute battery life and four different attachments. There is also smart app integration through bluetooth so you can track your massages. Say if you just sat for an hour in the car or on the subway during your daily commute; the app might suggest a glute and low back re-activation routine. One tip I have from using it personally: I can easily do my legs and lower back by myself, but it’s difficult to to your upper back!
There is also a mini version that is $199 and offers the same experience with a different handle.
4. Tile Pro $32
Definitely a practical gift, but one that we love! If your spouse is someone that is always losing their wallet or keys – get them one of these. It connects via bluetooth to an app on your phone and can track your devices. I’m always losing my keys and use this app to hunt them down! I also have one in my wallet! It makes a great stocking stuffer and is something that most people need. I’ve been thinking about getting Jake this leather wallet that comes with the tile tracker.
5. Men’s Lululemon Jogger $128
The ABC pant have been one of Jake’s favorites for years and this year he’s getting a pair of the popular joggers. Working from home has never looked so good! They’re not a sweatpant material, so I think they’ll feel a little bit dressier for him too!
6. Allbirds Tree Dashers $125
These are Jake’s every day shoes that he loves – I actually got them for him for Father’s Day this year. He doesn’t recommend them for running because he doesn’t think they have enough support, but they’re perfect for every day wear. Plus Allbirds is a Bcorp which means they are using their business as a force for good in the world!
7. Tushy Classic Bidet $89
With the 2020 TP shortage drama I have hear about people getting bidets installed in their house. This brand Tushy’s has been around for a while, but has gained popularity recently. It installs easily if your skin is close to the toilet, so be sure to make certain of that beforehand. It would make a great gift for men or women!
8. Beautycounter Counterman Shave Regimen $102
This set is a must for men that are shaving. It comes with four products – the Daily Exfoliating Cleanser, the Smoothing Shave Cream, the Clarifying Toner Pads and the Oil-Free Face Lotion. They all work together to give perfectly smooth skin.
9. Custom Socks with Faces $15
This was a gift that I got Jake last year and it was a big hit. I put Everly’s face on them and he thought it was so cute. He wears them sometimes for good luck (which is adorable). They’re perfect for Father-in-Law’s, Husbands, or Doggy Dads!
10. North Face Gloves $45
In New England good gloves are essential – especially ones that you can use with your iPhone. I thought that these were cool with the camo design – they also come in a few other colors including gray or black. They’d be a good stocking stuffer too!
11. Mini Golf Pool $99
This mat combines a game of pool and putt putt golf in the comfort of your home. How fun would this be as a drinking game? Hahah I’m a 33 year old mom and my initial thought was drinking games. I could see my Dad loving this one too!
12. Coop Home Goods Pillow $59
In my opinion, the Coop pillow is a must have. It’s an adjustable pillow which makes it perfect for any type of sleeper. You can remove the filling to make it softer or add filling to make it more firm. Jake and I each have one and sleep with them nightly!
13. Ember Temperature Controlled Smart Mug $100
Anyone that drinks coffee and tea is sure to see the value in this mug. It keeps your coffee heated to a temperature determined on your smart phone app. It can stay as hot as 145 degree. This might seem excessive, but this would be only coffee mug you’d need! There’s also a 12 oz travel version!
14. Apple TV 4K $199
Have you ever watched a sports game in 4K? I was even impressed and that’s not something I usually notice. Jake and I started watching some events in 4K and it feels like you’re there. This is a great gift for someone that has a 4K TV and appreciates tech!
15. Huckberry Weekenders $35
For $35 these are some pretty stylish sunglasses! They are perfect for someone that can’t be trusted with a more expensive brand like raybans. They come in four colors and a bunch of different styles too!
Hope you liked this round up! Let me know if you have other gift ideas for men in the comments!
