Kids age 2-4 can be tough to shop for, especially if you don’t have kids of your own. Everly is so great with imagination play and loves dressing up. Her favorite toys at home right now are Barbies, Magnatiles, and her grocery store. When it’s warm outside she loves to ride her scooter. Here is a list of gifts I’ve compiled for ages 2-4 – let me know if you have any other recommendations in the comments!
1. Letter Sisters Custom Crayons
We love these crayons – they were gifted to Everly and they’re so unique. They make a great birthday gift or a gift for the holidays. Letter Sisters also sells resin letters of the alphabet for learning.
2. Pottery Barn Easel
Coloring/painting isn’t one of Everly’s favorite activities, but I know other kids love to do that kind of stuff. This easel from Pottery Barn is gorgeous and has been on sale recently. This would make such a great gift from Santa Claus.
3. Melissa and Doug Easel Accessory Kit
If you’re getting the easel you should stock up on new paints! This set from Melissa and Doug is made to cut down on paint messes. Even if you’re not getting an easel kids love to craft with paint and markers.
4. Magnatiles Set
Everly had been a huge fan of Magnatiles and Magnaformers since she was 18 months old. We have a few different shapes/sizes and she loves building with them. I usually bring a small set with us when we travel too because they’re a great toy to have in hotel rooms. We’ve gotten these as gifts in the past and love them!
5. Melissa and Doug Dust Sweep and Mop Set
Any toy that encourages cleaning is a win in my book! Everly has this set and loves grabbing her broom when I’m cleaning to help out. This is such an easy present that kids will love for years. This year we are adding the Dyson Vacuum for kids to our cleaning crew.
6. Dyson Ball Toy Vacuum
This is such a cute vacuum to match mom and dad. There are a few styles to choose from – we decided on the stand up one, but they’re all so cute! They actually work and pick up small debris. There is a compartment to empty out as well!
7. Shifu Plugo Link
This STEM/building toy is a great way to have educational screen time. It’s compatible with most iPad’s and a few other types of tablets. We were gifted this set and Everly loves it. The description says for ages 5-10, but it’s still great for Everly with just a little help from me.
8. Micro Kickboard Mini Plus with LED Lights
Everly has loved for her scooter since she was 18 months old. It’s such a fun way for her to cruise around the neighborhood. We started using it when she went through a stroller rebellion phase and now it’s her favorite. This model is on sale at Target and has LED light up wheels. Be sure to add a helmet too!
9. Melissa and Doug Fill & Roll Grocery Basket Playset
If you’re not interested in getting a full grocery store like Santa brought for E last year – this is a fun way to pretend! It’s a small cart or basket that comes with a few different food items.
10. Fisher Price Little People Big Helpers Home
The little people are a perfect brand of toys for any kids age 1-4. We have been huge fans of some of their sets. Everly has this house in pink and plays with it all of the time. There is also a Frozen version of the Ice Palace which is really cool – this was a gift Everly got last year and still loves!
11. Fritz and Gigi Clothing
This is a small business in Concord, MA (Jake’s hometown) that sells adorable kid’s clothing and accessories! I linked the sheep dress, that would be cute for the holidays, but there are so many good options. They also have lots of gender neutral clothing for infants if you’re looking for gifts!
12. Melissa and Doug Magnetic Car Loader Toy
All Melissa and Doug toys are hits – we love this brand in our house. This is one that Everly is getting from Santa. I think it would be perfect for a toddler boy or girl!
13. Our Greenhouse Toys
I stumbled upon this website for organic toys and sustainbly made toys. I found so many perfect options for 2-4 year old including the toy sushi (o.m.g. this is a must for Everly), set of 6 organic playdohs, pasta necklace making kit, wooden lacing beads, and the wooden play toolbelt and tools.
What other toys have you found this year for toddlers? Leave them in the comments!

Jacci
