Valentine’s Day may be a “Hallmark holiday”, but I love making it special for Everly! This year Valentine’s Day falls on a Sunday, so we are going all out and setting up a brunch with the help of my Crafty Holiday Helper box. They make kits to decorate for holiday’s and I had to have the one for this holiday. It makes it so easy to set up a table that looks like a picture from Pinterest without all of the hard work and planning. Let’s get into the gifts!
1. LLBean Tote Bag
I needed something to put all of the gifts in. Instead of a basket that will just take up space or a gift bag that will get tossed, I thought a tote bag would be fun! She needs a new bag that she can bring to friend’s houses for playdates or to cheerleading practice. I love that they come in different sizes, they’re machine washable and affordable. We have a larger bag that we use in the summertime to go to the beach and pool and it’s held up so well!
The tote bags can even be embroidered by LLBean – I got Everly the red bag with pink embroidery. I was nervous that it would take a while to ship, but it’s been an extremely quick turnaround and it’s arriving four days after ordering! If needed, I’ll add a little bit of tissue to the bottom to prop up all of the gifts!
2. Amazon Slippers
These slippers were such a big hit for Christmas. I got her the bunny pair and she loves them! They’re affordable and so comfortable. She loves keeping them by her bed and putting them on first thing in the morning. I mean, how cute!
3. Books
There are so many fun Valentine’s Day themed books for toddlers! Everly is a big fan of Daniel Tiger, Pete the Cat, Peppa Pig, the Berenstain Bears, etc! I found a couple fun ones to freshen up her collection! You could also check out some books to your local library and add them to the basket!
4. Fun Sunglasses
I found a fun pair of heart sunglasses for Everly, but there are also a bunch of other styles on Amazon if you’re shopping for a boy and don’t want anything too girly. She is going to think that these are so cool! I probably need a matching pair for myself now haha!
5. Stuffed Animals
I don’t know if it’s a toddler thing, but Everly loves her stuffed animals. We have too many – if you need to add to your collection, we love the ones from Wild Republic on Amazon! I got the Tiger for Everly – she’s been obsessed since our last trip to the Franklin Park Zoo.
6. Bubbles
There’s a really cute set at Target right now, so I grabbed those for Everly. I add them to our bag for the park, so their an easy activity to do while we’re out.
7. Smart Sweets Candies
Everly has a sweet tooth, just like me! I’ve found two candy brands that I love for her. We are huge fans of Smart Sweets! They are sold at Target and Whole Foods and have no sugar alcohols, artificial sweeteners, or artificial coloring. Her favorites are the SourMelon Bites and Sweet Fish. She also loves the Unreal milk chocolate gems!
8. Red Pajamas
We bought this set for Everly last summer and they’ve held up so well. They come in a bunch of different colors and have a little bit of stretch to them! Everly wears a 4T in clothes and the 4T is perfect for her – even has a little room to grow.
9. Toddler Digital Camera
The last and final gift is another favorite from Christmas. She has been obsessed with this camera since the second she got it! It’s durable for kids and easy to use! It comes with a lanyard which is perfect for her to wear around her neck too.
I hope this posts helps make your Valentine’s Day with your toddler a little more special!
